SPEAKER PELOSI IS WHINING; BULL DOG PUNDIT TELLS HER WHY SHE'S WRONG TO DO SO!

The always provocative, frequently brilliant Bull Dog Pundit examines the whining of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi when the Vice President of the United States DARED to question the efficacy of the Dems’ so-called plan to “bleed the troops home” which is another word for saying “abandon the Iraquis” who have paid a FAR HIGHER price so far than has our military and who should expect our continuing support until they can stand on their own two feet, a condition which is still (despite the Dems’ claims) moving along quite nicely, thank you.

The money quotes, to me are as follows:

"Seriously, can any sane person gather that Cheney is questioning anyone’s patriotism? He’s not saying that Pelosi and Murtha want Al Queda to win - just that the plan they have would play right into Al Queda’s hands."

........

"But to Pelosi, such a comment should not even be debated. Which of course, is ludicrous."

.........

"And maybe she ought to realize that the reason some people out there question her patriotism (the Vice President is not one of them) is because many see her plan as harming the national security interests of the United States and handing the enemy a victory."

Amble on over to read the entire, well written and reasoned post.

"I believe that Pelosi’s confusion here stems from the often applied leftist theory that intention equals outcome. That is, if their intentions are good, then the outcome must also be good (and if it isn’t then it is either to be ignored or blamed on someone else).

The corollary to that is that, if someone points out negative consequences that will result from actions of the left, then the left will take the comment as impugning their motives. Thus, the Pelosi conclusion that Cheney was casting aspersions on her patriotism, simply because she is promoting a course of action that will be a disaster."
